The tournament became one of the strongest in the history of Denmark\u2019s chess with six GMs and the highest rated IM of the country Bj\u00f8rn M\u00f8ller participating.<\/p><p>Before the final round, Mads Andersen was a full point ahead of the two closest competitors\u00a0<strong>Bj\u00f8rn M\u00f8ller Ochsner\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0<strong>Allan Stig Rasmussen<\/strong>\u00a0but faced his young clubmate Jonas Bjerre with Black. Bjerre put some pressure on the leader but Andersen was defending with precision and eventually reached a draw and clinched the title. \u00a0<\/p><p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/app.fide.com\/upload\/7625\/8f5c96e0a62a6b5131b0534b37fa976a.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p><p><strong>Bj\u00f8rn M\u00f8ller Ochsner<\/strong>\u00a0(pictured above) came second with 6 points out of 9.
